Salutogenesis

One of the pillars of Laboratoires Renophase research is salutogenesis — the science of health development, which focuses on the factors that promote well-being rather than those that cause disease. Daily cellular function produces a large quantity of toxins. Through a transformation system, the skin recycles these proteins. However, this function weakens over time and cells lose their regenerative capacity. By supplying biological precursors capable of relaunching the skin’s detoxifying function, the cell is freed and its natural self-regeneration capacity is greatly amplified.

The skin, far more than a simple mechanical barrier, is a complex organ equipped with multiple finely regulated cellular and molecular interaction capacities. Composed of many cell types and interdependent structures, it forms a unified exchange system between the interior and exterior of the body, governing essential responses related to the environment and epigenetics. The entire cellular organization of the skin acts in pursuit of a common goal of protection, on which the viability and proper functioning of skin tissue depends.
